Senso-ji Temple

Senso-ji is a large Buddhist temple and Japan's oldest temple. It really is spectacular to stand from the main shrine area and look down at the giant lanterns swaying in the wind as the crowds surge through. 

Although there are a ton of people here, there are plenty of quiet areas free of people too. The grounds are stunning, I including a beautiful koi pond.

You can also pay ¥100 (~$1) to get your fortune. You make a wish, shake a can, and then get a stick with a symbol. You match the symbol to the drawer and pull out a paper fortune. If it's bad (which I think most of them are) you tie it up and leave it behind at the temple so it doesn't come through. Watch Madhu get his fortune and then tie it up after.
